Avolta is proud to have advised Lactips on its €16M fundraising.

Lactips is a French company specializing in the production of a 100% bio-based, water-soluble, and biodegradable natural polymer. This new financing, supported by the SPI fund managed by Bpifrance under the France 2030 initiative, marks the entry of SWEN Blue Ocean and GO CAPITAL through its Impact Ocean Capital fund, along with Sogive, into Lactips’ capital.

Celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2024, Lactips assists industrial players and decision-makers in their ecological and regulatory transition by offering a sustainable alternative to traditional plastics. Backed by patented technology, expert teams, and a proven industrial tool, the company has demonstrated the unique properties of its product and established strong commercial partnerships.

With this funding, Lactips is well-equipped to realize its ambitions and become a leading international player. The funds will enable the company to:

  • Accelerate its commercial development in Europe and expand into the United States and Japan to strengthen its presence in these strategic markets.
  • Continue its research and development efforts to broaden its product range, improve performance, and reduce environmental impact.
  • Invest further in its industrial infrastructure to support growth and optimize production capacities.
