  • Fundraising

Avolta is extremely proud to announce it has acted as the exclusive financial advisor to Aisprid on its €10M fundraising.

Founded in 2020 and headquartered in Saint-Malo, Aisprid has established itself as a leader in integrating artificial intelligence with high-precision robotics for agriculture. Its flagship product, a patented autonomous robot for tomato plant deleafing, addresses critical labor shortages in greenhouse farming while improving operational efficiency. By 2024, Aisprid had deployed 30 robots across France’s top five tomato cooperatives, representing 70% of the domestic greenhouse market.

Transaction rationale.

The Series A funding will enable Aisprid to accelerate its R&D efforts, scale up production capacity, and expand its international footprint. The round was led by Innovacom (Turenne Groupe), alongside Bpifrance, and supported by key historical investors such as Demeter, GO Capital, and Breizh Up, as well as a consortium of expert business angels.

Key initiatives include:

– Enhancing the robot’s capabilities, such as full nighttime operations and autonomous row switching.
– Developing a new generation of robots to meet the growing demand from domestic and international producers.
– Expanding its team and relocating to a state-of-the-art facility to support increased production volumes.

The success of Aisprid highlights the growing importance of technological innovation in addressing pressing agricultural challenges such as labor shortages and environmental sustainability. By integrating cutting-edge robotics with real-world applications through artificial intelligence, Aisprid is playing a key role in advancing food sovereignty and reducing the carbon footprint of agricultural production.
