Frédéric Ventre

Managing Director

Sector(s)

Frédéric has enjoyed an expansive career in banking and as an entrepreneur. After graduating from HEC in 1993, Frédéric joined the IT department at the Inspection Générale of Société Générale. He went on to gain valuable experience in private banking, asset management and investment banking at Indosuez, Lazard and Meeschaert. In 2006, he launched his own consulting boutique, providing services to SMEs and ETIs with innovative technological assets, across sectors including insurance brokerage, agriculture and automotive. Frédéric became an entrepreneur in the baby food sector in 2012, with his hugely successful foodtech startup Yooji, which he handed over to Danone at the end of 2019.

Frédéric joined Avolta in early 2020, focusing on agtech and foodtech, before broadening his scope to take charge of sustainability. His clients are all active players in the energy and environmental transition. Projects include new protein sources, such as insects and micro-algae; new materials, green energy, biostimulants, smart mobility and precision agriculture. At Avolta, Frédéric bridges the gap between his finance background and entrepreneurial experience, working with inspiring company leaders on projects and negotiations. As Head of Sustainability, he can also reconcile his passion for technology with the ecological values and concerns he developed as a parent and as a producer of organic food. For Frédéric, every deal, every day is different. He combines the methodical with the creative, alway keeping the best interests of his clients at heart. It is a complex and difficult job, but immensely rewarding.
